Police continue to look for a woman wanted for stabbing a man at a grocery store in Morgan County.
Kentucky State Police said 35-year-old Alaina “Jade” Gevedon, of West Liberty, stabbed 46-year-old Robert Jones, of West Liberty, in the leg at Betty’s Grocery in the community of Moon on the afternoon of October 7.
Jones was transported to St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Gevedon, who was convicted in Morgan County in 2023 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), fourth-degree assault, theft by unlawful taking, and felony wanton endangerment, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections.
She is on probation until November 2028.
