One man is dead after a driver ran a red light in Christian County.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the crash on Sunday afternoon at approximately 3:00 at the intersection of Hwy 117 and Hwy 41 in Oak Grove.
State police said the investigation showed that 53-year-old Daryll Hook, of Hopkinsville, was driving a pickup truck when he “disregarded a traffic control device” and struck a vehicle being driven by 26-year-old Deborah Stanford, of Clarksville, Tennessee.
A passenger in Stanford’s vehicle, 55-year-old Tony Kilsby, also of Clarksville, was airlifted to Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville where he was pronounced deceased.
“At this time, no criminal charges have been filed,” according to state police.
The investigation is ongoing.
