Human remains have been discovered in eastern Kentucky.
Kentucky State Police said the remains were found on Monday night at approximately 8:30 near Inez in Martin County. The remains were located in a wooded area near Coldwater Road, about eight miles south of Inez.
The skeletal remains were removed by the Martin County Coroner’s Office and transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for identification.
KSP Det. Tony Tackett is leading the investigation.
