A woman has been charged with murder in the overdose death of a 26-year-old man.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Courtney K. Boone, of East Bernstadt, on Monday and charged her with murder in a fentanyl overdose death on Douglas Lane, approximately seven miles north of London, earlier this year.
Boone is accused of supplying the man with a “fatal dose of fentanyl through the form of methamphetamine in a pipe,” the sheriff’s office said. “The Laurel County Coroner’s Office has verified the fatal dose of fentanyl.”
Boone was lodged in Laurel County Corrections.
