Missing Ohio Co. girl found

A missing Ohio County teenager has been found.

The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office said 17-year-old Geneva Hastie has been found and is safe.

Geneva disappeared Monday morning at approximately 1:00. She had last been seen in the area of Adams Lane/Arons Lane and Taffy Road, approximately eight miles north of Hartford.

Geneva’s safe return made the second positive outcome in a local missing persons case on Monday, as a 19-year-old Grayson County girl with special needs went missing on Monday at 2:00 p.m. from her home on Miller Road in Wax.

She was found at 7:30 with a possible broken leg in the woods after a massive search team scoured the area. Read more on that story by clicking here.
