A Muhlenberg County man has died in a single-vehicle crash near Central City.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the accident in the 13000 block of Hwy 431 near Central City on Sunday morning at approximately 11:00.
The state police investigation showed that a vehicle being driven by 31-year-old Benjamin “Blake” O’Bannon, of Beech Creek, was traveling north when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a culvert.
A passenger, 30-year-old Angelica McGehee, of Drakesboro, was transported to a local hospital.
O’Bannon was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital where he died early Monday morning, according to his obituary.
The investigation is ongoing and is being led by Trooper Kirby Broadbent.
