Charles Lee Decker, age 78, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (December 01, 2025) at his home.
He was born on June 23, 1947 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late Teddy and Corine Shain Decker.
He was a construction superintendent and had many hobbies and interests, including old cars, working on his farm, wood working, and fixing old clocks and watches.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lois Ann Lasley Decker of Leitchfield, five children Teresa Ann Brown and Charles Lee Decker, both of Leitchfield, Pamela Sue Crawford (Aaron) of Caneyville, Jason Wayne Decker & Matthew Dwayne Decker (Tiffeny), also of Leitchfield. 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Decker.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, (December 06, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Damon Lasley will be officiating. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services. Casket will be open for viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and closed for the funeral and the remainder of the visitation.
