Driver sentenced after killing 25-year-old motorcyclist in DUI crash

A man has been sentenced to over 10 years in prison after killing a motorcyclist.

Curtis Jackson, 44, of Berea, was sentenced in a Madison County courtroom to 11 years after he drove a Chevrolet Silverado into the path of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, being driven by 25-year-old Jeffrey L. Crowe, also of Berea, at the intersection of Slate Lick Road and Mt. Vernon Road on the evening of February 19, 2024.

Crowe died at the scene.

Jackson was convicted of second-degree manslaughter and his second DUI.
