
Helen Ruth Schultz, age 84, of Moutardier, KY, passed away Friday, (December 05, 2025) at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born on July 24, 1941 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Virgil and Coakra Mae Goff Meyers.
A mother and a grandmother to many, Helen was a home maker and a housewife who enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Anneta United Baptist Church for more than 40 years.
She is survived by her four sons, Joe Schultz (Vivian) of Moutardier, KY, Tim Schultz (Tammy) of Clarkson, KY, Mark Schultz (Cathy) of Leitchfield & James Schultz (Tonya) of Anneta, KY; nine grandchildren, Bryan, Mike, Carrie Beth, Brianne, Ethan, Conner, Isaac, Wyatt & Jacob; 18 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Phyllis Anderson (Eddie) of Leitchfield. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles R. Schultz and four brothers, Wendell, Ralph, Fred & Leonard Meyers.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, (December 08, 2025) at the Anneta United Baptist Church. Bro. Blake Newton will be officiating. Burial will be in the Anneta Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and at the Anneta United Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
