A passenger car crashed into a semi-truck on I-65.

The Alvaton Fire Department (AFD) responded Saturday morning at approximately 9:30 to a car vs. semi-truck accident at the 26-mile marker of northbound I-65, the fire department said in a social media post.

Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found a passenger car had collided with the truck and was pinned underneath the semi.

“Firefighters,” according to AFD, “assisted with patient care and vehicle stabilization.”

WNKY.com reports that the “extent of injuries is unknown,” while WBKO reports that the driver of the car was not injured.

In addition to AFD, Kentucky State Police and The Medical Center at Bowling Green EMS responded to the crash.
