A man behaving erratically has been killed after he was struck by a semi-truck on I-65 in Bowling Green.
The incident began Tuesday afternoon at approximately 3:00 when a man ran into traffic on Cumberland Trace Road, which runs parallel to I-65.
The man then entered the Harley-Davidson Bowling Green store, at 251 Cumberland Trace Road, near the I-65 interchange with Scottsville Road.
Once inside the store, the man assaulted a woman, who bit the man. He then ran out of the business, jumped a fence and entered I-65 where he was hit by a tractor-trailer, Bowling Green Police Department Public Information Officer Ronnie Ward told WBKO.com.
The man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The name of the man has not yet been released.
