
An earthquake shook parts of central and eastern Kentucky on Sunday.
The 3.1 magnitude quake struck Garrard County at 12:47 p.m. on Sunday and was felt in Lancaster, Richmond, Danville, and Lexington, according to the Garrard County Emergency Management. The quake lasted for between 10 and 15 seconds.
The earthquake’s epicenter was between Richmond and Lancaster, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
No injuries or damage have yet been reported.
