Tammy Faye (Decker) Garner, age 64, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Thursday, (December 25, 2025) at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born on September 17, 1961 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Orin Kip and June Marie Reed Decker, and Mildred Caldwell.
She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her daughter, Mandy and her grandkids. She attended Western KY University and worked as a CNA and later as a CMT.
She is survived by her daughters, Cherish Newton (Ray), Amanda Faith Jones, and Tasha Nichole Meredith; grandchildren, Courtney, Cassie, Caitlyn, Jacob, Trinity, Gauge, Trent and Eli; great-grandchildren, Julia, Abel, Christian, Oliver, Siena and Tate; her mother, Mildred Caldwell (Oliver Mack Jr.); brothers, Martin Cook (Mary Ann), Timothy Caldwell (Annitte) and Lonnie Caldwell (Georgia); and one sister, Sandy Meredith. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ulyssa Decker and a niece, Tabitha Shawn Valera.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, (January 3, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Antioch General Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
