A man has died in a house fire in Madisonville.
The fire occurred Monday morning at approximately 9:50 in the 400 block of Alan Drive. The home was engulfed in flames upon firefighters arriving at the scene, and neighbors said at least one explosion occurred before the residence became fully engulfed, according to a report by WFIE.com.
After extinguishing the blaze, the body of 64-year-old Charles Jones was discovered in a room where the fire is believed to have started.
The Madisonville Police and Fire Departments are investigating the incident.
