
A Breckinridge County man already in jail has been sentenced to prison for sexual misconduct with a juvenile relative.
Albert L. Armes, 56, of Garfield, was sentenced on Wednesday in Breckinridge Circuit Court by Judge Kenneth H. Goff II to 10 years in prison after being found guilty of incest, victim under the age of 18, by a person three or more years older. He faced up to 20 years in prison, as the charge is a class B felony.
Armes was previously convicted in Breckinridge County in May 2025 for theft by unlawful taking (more than $10,000, less than $1 million) and third-degree burglary. In October 2025, he was convicted of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and theft (failure to make required disposition of property).
According to the Breckinridge County Detention Center, Armes has been lodged in the facility since September 21, 2024, following his arrest for possession of methamphetamine.
