
Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in Pendleton County.
Kentucky State Police said the Pendleton County Sheriff’s Office received a welfare check request on Sunday evening at approximately 11:00 for a residence on Hogg Ridge Road, about nine miles west of Falmouth.
Upon police arriving at the home, deputies discovered two deceased individuals in the yard.
One of the decedents, 40-year-old Camille McClanahan, was suffering from a gunshot wound, while 50-year-old James Hall had an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to state police.
This incident remains under investigation by KSP Post 6 detectives.
