A Daviess County teenager is facing over 25 child porn charges.
The Owensboro Police Department on Wednesday, following an Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigation, arrested 18-year-old Prestyn D. Blair, of Thruston.
The investigation was “initiated by a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding child sexual abuse material,” the Owensboro PD said in a press release.
A search warrant was executed at Blair’s residence on Keenland Parkway in Thruston. He was subsequently charged with 20 counts of possession of material portraying a sexual performance by a minor under the age of 12, four counts of possession of material portraying a sexual performance by a minor over the age of 12 but younger than 18, use of a minor under 16 in a sex performance, and procuring or promoting the use of a minor by electronic means.
Blair was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond.
