Kentucky State Police is investigating after a man was shot in Beaver Dam.
State police said troopers responded on Friday night at approximately 11:40 to the report of a shooting in the 900 block of Crowe Street in Beaver Dam.
The preliminary state police investigation indicated that Samantha Fultz and Miles Snodgrass arrived at Samantha Fultz’s residence where they encountered Billy Fultz.
“A confrontation ensued between Snodgrass and Billy Fultz, during which Snodgrass discharged a firearm, striking Fultz once in the abdomen,” according to state police.
Billy Fultz was transported to Owensboro Health.
No arrests have been made, as the investigation is ongoing.
