Alma “Jean” Mollyhorn, age 90, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Tuesday, (March 3, 2026) at Grayson Nursing and Rehabilitation in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on June 28, 1935, in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Ellis Kelly and Lottie Muffet Kelly.
Jean especially enjoyed mowing her yard, often tending to it a little each day, taking great pride in the care of her home and surroundings. She also cherished time with her family, enjoyed cooking and tending to her flowers. She was a member of the Spring Lick Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Phillip Mollyhorn (Rose); granddaughters, Amy Childress (Cameron) and Kelly Bratcher (Nathaniel), three great-grandchildren, Garrett, Mason and Gracie Bratcher; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Ross Mollyhorn and a brother, Joe Kelly and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, (March 8, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Steve Mahurin will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
