An impaired Breckinridge County woman has been arrested after allegedly hitting her son with her vehicle.
The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon when 52-year-old Connie Lynn Fraze, of Harned, began arguing with family members as she was leaving a home on Hwy 60, the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office told WXBC.com.
Due to her level of intoxication, her son attempted to keep Fraze from leaving the residence when the suspect struck her son with her vehicle and drove away from the scene.
She was later found by the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office at a convenience store in Garfield where she resisted arrest.
Fraze was charged with felony wanton endangerment, second-degree assault (domestic violence), DUI (aggravating circumstances), resisting arrest, third-degree escape, and leaving the scene of an accident. She was lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center.
The victim’s condition was not released.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
