A 14-year-old driver, with three adult passengers, was killed after crossing the center line and hitting two vehicles in Green County.

Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the crash on Tuesday morning at 9:10 on Hwy 88.

State police said the investigation showed that a 14-year-old was traveling west on Hwy 88 in a 2009 Subaru Forester when the juvenile entered a curve and lost control of the vehicle. The Subaru crossed the center line and sideswiped an eastbound 2006 GMC bucket truck, being driven by 54-year-old Patrick Elmore, of Greensburg.

After making contact with the bucket truck, the Forester collided with an eastbound 2011 Ford F-350, being driven by 31-year-old Willie Mosier, of Cookeville, Tennessee.

The F-350 caught fire, as Mosier was able to free himself and exit the vehicle before the fire reached the passenger compartment, according to state police.

The 14-year-old was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Green County Coroner’s Office.

A passenger in the Forester, 20-year-old Angelo Forsee, of Russell Springs, was transported to University of Louisville Hospital with serious injuries.  Two other passengers in the Forester, 32-year-old Adrian Crew, of Columbia, and 28-year-old Jacob Mann, of Russell Springs, were transported to T.J. Sampson Community Hospital.

Elmore and Mosier were uninjured.

The accident remains under investigation by Senior Trooper Trevor Sagrecy.
