A northern Kentucky man has been accused of nearly 250 charges related to raping and sodomizing children and child pornography.
Joshua J. Boykin, 36, of Covington, was indicted by a Kenton County Grand Jury on a total of 244 charges, including 15 counts of rape, 38 counts of sodomy, 37 counts of sexual abuse, two counts of human trafficking, 50 counts of promoting a sexual performance by a minor, and 102 counts of possession of child pornography, all involving children under the age of 12, according to FOX19.com.
He was originally arrested in late January 2026 after his wife discovered videos and images of some of his crimes on his cellphone.
The indictments involve three victims, Commonwealth’s Attorney Rob Sanders told FOX19.com. There are also two “suspected victims in other jurisdictions.”
Sanders further said that one way Boykin accessed the children was through babysitting.
Boykin is being held in the Kenton County Detention Center on a $250,000 cash bond.
