Grayson County High School’s Jack Logsdon has been named Second Team All-State by the Lexington Herald-Leader.
Logsdon led the Cougars in scoring this season, averaging 19.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
He also became the school’s all-time leading scorer, passing his head coach, Travis Johnston, for the boys’ record before later surpassing Brittany Bird for the overall program record.
Logsdon was also recognized as an honorable mention all-state performer a year ago. At the time, he became the first Cougar to be recognized on the list since Johnston in 2010.
The Western Kentucky commit will turn his attention toward building upon a strong junior season that saw Grayson County advance to the state semifinals for the first time in school history.
The Cougars will begin summer basketball in early June before opening the new season in December.
