
An Owensboro man has been arrested on human trafficking charges.
Kentucky State Police said that after a months-long investigation, detectives on Tuesday arrested 50-year-old Juan M. Segovia after it was discovered he “engaged in a sexual relationship with a juvenile.”
Segovia was charged with two counts of human trafficking (sexual activity, victim under the age of 18) and procuring or promoting the use of a minor by electronic means.
Segovia was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center on a $500,000 cash bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
