A 54-year-old Bullitt County man has been accused of exchanging sex with his juvenile adopted daughter for THC products.

The Mt. Washington man was arrested on Sunday. WDRB.com reports that during a Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office interview with the now 16-year-old victim, she told investigators that she had a sexual relationship with the suspect for several years. And that the suspect provided her with “THC vapes and other products” in return, WDRB.com reports.

The suspect told police the sexual encounters happened approximately once per month.

The suspect was charged with first-degree rape (domestic violence), incest, first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor (illegal sex act, victim under the age of 18), and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He’s being held in the Bullitt County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.
