A western Kentucky man has died after crashing into the rear of a semi-truck.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the crash Friday morning at approximately 6:50 in the 7500 block of Hwy 641 near Benton in Marshall County.
State police said the investigation showed that a semi-truck, driven by 47-year-old David A. Izquierdo, of Miami, Florida, was traveling north when he slowed to turn into a parking lot. A 2016 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by 32-year-old Cedric Cherry, of Murray, then slammed into the rear of the semi.
