Calling all fiber-arts makers! The Bluegrass Stitchers is a Kentucky-based stitching group that meets every 4th Saturday at the Grayson County Extension Office from 8 AM –5 PM. This is an open-house style event, where anyone with a fiber arts project can come to socialize, build community, and have dedicated time and space to work on their stitching or needlework projects. Find out more »Virtual Home-Based Microprocessing Workshop
Home-based microprocessors are farmers who grow and harvest produce to use in their value-added products. Home-based microprocessors are required to grow a predominant ingredient in the products they make. The first step to becoming certified as a home-based microprocessor is to attend a virtual Home-Based Microprocessor (HBM) workshop presented by the University of Kentucky. There is a $50 fee to attend.
