Saturday morning, Kentucky State Police responded to a burglary in progress on Placid Lane in Beaver Dam.
When troopers arrived, the suspects had already left the scene; however, witnesses were able to provide detailed vehicle and suspect information, according to police. A short time later, troopers observed a suspicious vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s vehicle, and a traffic stop was executed.
Upon making contact with the occupants, 49-year-old Ronald S. Hall and his wife, 46-year-old Katie Hall, both of Cromwell, police determined the couple was responsible for the burglary.
All the stolen property was returned to its rightful owner, and the Halls were arrested and charged with burglary and lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
