For the third time since September 13, a Hardin County man has been arrested on child porn charges.
On Tuesday, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested 38-year-old Billy Joe Chesser after he was discovered sharing images of child sexual exploitation online. Police said the victim is under the age of 16.
He was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Chesser’s Elizabethtown residence where equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination.
Chesser was charged with 10 counts of using a minor (under the age of 16) in a sex performance, a class B felony, and lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center. He’s being held in a $100,000 cash bond.
On September 13, an Elizabethtown man was arrested and jailed on 30 child porn charges. And again on September 25, a Cecilia man facing 160 state child porn charges was federally charged with receiving child porn.
