
A Smiths Grove woman has been sentenced for shooting her boyfriend over a thermostat setting.
Candy Moss, 53, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for shooting her live-in boyfriend, 64-year-old Stevie Flynn, multiple times during an early morning argument over their home’s thermostat setting. The shooting took place in late November 2018.
She was convicted of first-degree assault and tampering with physical evidence.
Flynn was airlifted to a Nashville hospital in critical condition. He has since recovered.
