Barbara Mae McGrew, age 81 of Clarkson, passed away Sunday, October 8th 2017 at the Norton’s Hosparus Pavilion in Louisville. She was born October 6th 1936 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of Jack Reese & Edna Maw Armes Samuels.
She is survived by her husband, Junior W. McGrew, eight children, Barbara Darline Offutt, Alexander R. Spaulding, Robert G. Spaulding, Elaine Lashley, Thomas W. Spaulding, Junior McGrew, Jr., Joyce Simon, & Norma McGrew, three step-children, Vickie Logsdon, Roger McGrew, & Timothy Dwayne McGrew, twenty-six grandchildren, and thirty-three great grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Dina McGrew & Dolores Hall, three step-children, Darrell McGrew, Danny McGrew, & Wanetta Carr, and her sister, Betty Jean Samuels.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday (Oct 11) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the McGrew Church Cemetery in Anneta. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
