A teenager has been arrested on a drug trafficking charge on the Western Kentucky University campus.

On Thursday afternoon, police said the Bowling Green/Warren County Drug Task Force, WKU Police Department and United States Postal Inspectors arrested 19-year-old Kameron Y. Cunningham, of Pembroke, and charged him with trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.

The arrest followed a brief investigation and surveillance by authorities on the WKU campus. Cunningham was arrested at Hugh Poland Hall, with police seizing 85 high concentration THC vape cartridges. Authorities said the drugs had a street value exceeding $6,000.

Cunningham was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail but is no longer listed as an inmate.
