Four Leitchfield residents are facing drug trafficking and theft charges after an investigation by multiple local law enforcement agencies.

On Monday night, the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, Leitchfield Police Department and Grayson County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 116 Cave Mill Road. The warrant was the result of a continuing drug trafficking investigation. While searching the basement of the residence (where the four suspects reside), police discovered about 50 grams of methamphetamine (nearly two ounces), drug paraphernalia and “an extreme amount of stolen property,” according to police.

Authorities arrested 41-year-old James A. Boaz, 44-year-old Basil G. Ashley, 35-year-old Amanda Ferraro, and 39-year-old Jennifer L. Flamion, and charged each with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine, greater than two grams), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

There was such a large amount of stolen property, including televisions and tools, that local law enforcement continues to investigate and identify the rightful owners of the property. Police said in addition to the drug charges, all four suspects are also facing receiving stolen property and burglary charges, and possibly robbery charges, as the investigation continues.

All four suspects are lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
