Mary Alice Todd, age 95, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Friday, (October 4, 2019) at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
She was born on September 20, 1924 in Henry County, KY, the daughter of the late Noble Johnson and Rosa Nell Mae Claggett.
She retired as a coder for the Census Bureau who enjoyed reading the newspaper and her Bible, playing the piano, working crossword puzzles, spending time with her family and was a member of the Turner’s Station Christian Church.
She is survived by her three sons, Dickie Todd (Margaret) of Quinlan, TX, Brad Todd of Louisville, KY, and Brian Todd (Julia) of Brentwood, TN; two daughters, Rita Bratcher (Roger) of Caneyville, KY and Debra Mouser (James “Corky”) of Tucson, AZ; a daughter-in-law, Lynn Todd of Central, IN; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce H. Todd Sr.; one son, Bruce H. Todd Jr.; one great-grandson, David Austin; two sisters; one brother; and a special friend, Bill Adkins.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST. Monday, (October 7, 2019) at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, KY. Bro. Scot Bratcher will be officiating.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
