An Elizabethtown woman has been arrested after attacking her ex-boyfriend’s home with an aluminum baseball bat.

Police said Savannah Lea Shade, 22, was arrested by the Elizabethtown Police Department after officers responded to a report of an intoxicated woman damaging property on Pear Orchard Road, according to The News-Enterprise.

When officers arrived, they found an intoxicated Shade in her vehicle. She is accused of breaking out the windows of the victim’s residence and trying to strike her former boyfriend with the bat. The victim, though, was able to disarm Shade.

The suspect, who smelled strongly of alcohol, refused to cooperate with officers at the scene and was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, second-degree criminal mischief and DUI.

She was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $2,500 cash bond but has since been released.
