Larry (Bud) Wilson was born on April 4, 1950. He passed on December 21, 2019 at Owensboro Regional Health surrounded by his family. Larry was a talented bass guitarist who played with many gospel groups including Heaven’s Echoes, Carson Mudd, and The Byerlines.
Larry worked with his family for many years at Wilco Oil near West Point and Valley Oil and Auto Parts in Valley Station, Kentucky. He then worked for a time at Trim Masters in Leitchfield.
Surviving family members include his daughter, April Wilson Joyner (Terry) of Cecilia and his son, Aaron Michael Wilson (Heather) of Leitchfield. He is survived by 3 grandchildren, Jaxon, Nolan, and Eliza. He is also survived by former wife, Tracy Lynne Minton Wilson. He has two sisters, Debbie Billingsley and Rebecca Scott of Valley Station. There are several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Eudella Wilson of Valley Station as well as his brother, Joseph Wilson of Valley Station.
There will be visitation on January 5, 2020, from 1 pm. To 4 pm. CST with a memorial service at 4pm. at Hilltop Fellowship at Intersection of 105 & 79 in McDaniels in Breckinridge County. Cremation was chosen.
