The Leitchfield Police Department is asking for help finding a motorist who rear-ended a vehicle and fled the scene.
According to LPD, “Sunday night at approximately 8:35, officers responded to the north end of William Thomason Byway in reference to a hit and run collision that had just occurred.”
Police said a 1995 to 2005 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck, possibly blue in color, struck the rear of a Honda passenger car (pictured below) and fled the scene.
The truck will obviously have front end damage (the headline photo, supplied by LPD, is of a similar truck).
Anyone with information on this hit-and-run or who may have been driving the vehicle, or the location of the vehicle, is asked to contact the Leitchfield PD at 270-259-3850.
