A Hardin County man accused of videotaping a juvenile girl while she undressed is facing five felony child pornography charges.

Charles N. Keeling, 37, of Radcliff, was arrested in November after he confessed to Elizabethtown police that he recorded a teenage girl on multiple occasions as she entered or exited a shower at a residence, according to a report by The News-Enterprise.

Keeling was recently indicted by a Hardin County Grand Jury on five counts of possessing/viewing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor. He faces up to five years in prison on each count if convicted.

Keeling was charged after the girl found his cellphone “in the bathroom in an area that provided a clear view of the shower and tub,” according to the newspaper. The victim reported the discovery of the cellphone to her mother who alerted authorities.

The phone, which showed Keeling setting the device up to record in the bathroom, was turned over to the Radcliff Police Department. Radcliff police then obtained a search warrant for the cellphone.

Keeling has been held in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $5,000 cash bond since his November 2020 arrest.
