Kentucky State Police is investigating after a body was found in a ditch less than a mile from Brandenburg.
The body of an adult female was found at approximately 8:30 Sunday morning in a ditch on Christian Church Road near the intersection with Bud Wilson Road, about a mile west of the Brandenburg Kroger.
Neither the identity of the decedent nor a cause of death have been released by state police.
The body was taken to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy.
