The Leitchfield Police Department continues to search for a teenager missing for nine days, and has released an updated photo of the missing boy.

Leitchfield police said 14-year-old Gabe L. Harper went missing on Monday, June 21. He was last seen that afternoon at his Leitchfield home at approximately 3:00. Police said he ran away “after a disagreement with a family member.”

He has been in contact with friends and has been seen at locations in and around Leitchfield, according to authorities.

Gabe stands five feet, five inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Upon releasing the original photo of Gabe, police noted his appearance had changed since the picture was taken. The new photo more accurately shows Gabe’s current appearance.

Anyone with information on Gabe’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Leitchfield Police Department at 270-259-3860, or any law enforcement agency.
