Gary Alan Phillips, Sr. age 70, of Leitchfield, passed away, Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
He was born December 7, 1950, in Louisville, to the late William Paul Phillips, Sr. and Aline M. Clark Phillips. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, a member of the DAV and attended Clarkson Community Church.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Lynn Morgan Phillips and a brother, William Paul Phillips, Jr.
He is survived by a son, Gary Alan (Meranda) Phillips, Jr. of Caneyville; a daughter, Candice K. Phillips of Big Clifty; five grandchildren, Alanna Clemons, Eric Phillips, Jon Glenn, Dakota Wright and Brandi Tumax; a sister, Paulette Phillips of Leitchfield; a brother, Michael (Betty) Phillips of Louisville and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Curtis Decker officiating. Burial will follow in Leitchfield Memorial Gardens
Visitation will be after 10 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home.
