A track coach at Anderson County High School has been indicted on multiple child sex charges.
Connor Duncan, 24, of Lawrenceburg, was indicted on two counts of first-degree sexual abuse (victim younger than 12), promoting a sexual performance (victim younger than 16), promoting a sexual performance (victim younger than 18), and tampering with physical evidence.
The indictments follow an investigation by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office into a complaint made against Duncan earlier this year.
Anderson County Schools Superintendent Sheila Mitchell said Duncan was a volunteer track coach at the high school. She said he had been in the position for only a few months.
Authorities have not said if the charges involve Anderson County High School students.
Duncan is being held in the Shelby County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.
