Loyd “Buster” Torrence, 60, of Brownsville passed away at 1:00 AM Saturday Feb. 26, 2022 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a machine operator for NASCO, a 1979 graduate of ECHS and a member and deacon at Christian Home General Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Thurman Torrence and Loretta Cowles Torrence of Bee Spring, who survives.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Christian Home with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Monday and after 9:00 AM Tuesday at Gravil Funeral Home.
Also surviving are his wife, Carolyn Priddy Torrence; a daughter, Sarah Decker (Scott) of Pig; Anthony Torrence (Linda) of Smiths Grove; a sister, Kathy Salleng (Eddie) of Bee Spring; a special sister-in-law, Janice Priddy; five grandchildren, Sierra Decker, Austin Decker, Lyric Torrence, Pru Torrence and Addie Decker; a niece, Amber Shoap (Daniel); and a nephew, Chad Salleng.
