A Hart County woman was killed when a vehicle struck a buggy near Hardyville, Kentucky State Police said.

Saturday night at approximately 6:50, troopers responded to the accident in the 6800 block of Hardyville Road (Hwy 88), about one mile east of Hardyville.

Upon arriving at the scene, KSP said troopers found that a Chevrolet truck, being driven by 33-year-old Brandon Polson, of Hardyville, was traveling west when he struck the back of a buggy, tossing a passenger, 44-year-old Edna Mae Miller, of Munfordville, off the vehicle.

She was transported to TJ Samson Community Hospital where she was pronounced deceased, police said.

Polson and the operator of the buggy, Miller’s husband, 45-year-old Robert Miller, were not injured in the crash.
