Local, state and federal law enforcement agencies collaborated to arrest a Bowling Green man for trafficking in fentanyl, according to police.

The Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force, Kentucky State Police, Office of Homeland Security and ATF agents arrested 20-year-old Kaung Z. Haw Thursday afternoon.

Police said that during an investigation into the trafficking of fentanyl pills (aka M-30 pills), an undercover agent purchased M-30 pills from Haw over a two week period. A search warrant was obtained for his residence on Thursday and during a search of the home, police located approximately 40 fentanyl tablets, two handguns, digital scales, over one pound of marijuana, and over $2,500 in cash.

Haw was arrested and charged with three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (fentanyl) and trafficking in marijuana. Those charges are enhanced due the presence of the handguns.

The suspect was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
