
A Hart County man has been arrested for killing a Glasgow man during an altercation on Monday.
State police said the preliminary investigation indicates that 62-year-old Dennis Wayne Wells, of Magnolia, was in a verbal altercation with 31-year-old William Kelleher, of Glasgow, when Wells brandished a firearm and shot Kelleher multiple times in the chest.
Kelleher was transported to Baptist Health Hardin before being airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Wells was arrested and charged with murder and lodged in the Hart County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond.
