Hardin Co. man sentenced to over 10 years for distributing, possessing child porn

A Hardin County man has been sentenced to over 12 years in federal prison for distributing and possessing child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Kentucky.

According to court documents, Martin Hoag, 43, of Elizabethtown, used the internet on two occasions to send child pornography to an undercover agent. Additionally, Hoag possessed, on two separate hard drives, child pornography that involved a victim under the age of 12.

After serving 151 months in federal prison (12.5 years), Hoag will serve 10 years of supervised release.

The case was investigated by the FBI.
