Two central Kentucky men are facing kidnapping charges after forcing a child on a playground to take pictures with them.

The Winchester Police Department said officers were dispatched Monday afternoon to Legacy Grove Park in Winchester on the report of two men attempting to persuade children on the playground to come with them.

Police said the investigation showed that 23-year-old Arvind Arvind and 21-year-old Rahul Rahul were waiting for children on top of a slide. One child, a seven-year-old boy, said one of the men grabbed him and made him take pictures with the men. Arvind is also accused of grabbing the boy’s wrist and holding him down on a bench.

WDRB.com reports that, according to court documents, the photos the men took showed Arvind with his arm around the child and his hand “all the way down to the chest area.”

The boy’s mother saw what happened and called for the child but he was apparently too scared to move. She then called 911.

Both suspects were charged with kidnapping (minor), with Arvind also charged with fourth-degree assault. They were lodged in the Clark County Detention Center.
