A Hardin County man has been indicted in the murder of a Hodgenville couple following a crash in October 2022.

Sean Tolliver, 40, of Elizabethtown, was indicted by a Hardin County Grand Jury on two counts of murder, first-degree assault and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicants, according to a report by the News-Enterprise.

The indictment comes after toxicology tests showed Tolliver was under the influence of drugs at the time of the accident.

The fatal wreck occurred on Friday afternoon October 22, 2022, when Tolliver crossed the center line in the 2600 block of Hodgenville Road, near the Elizabethtown Country Club, and struck a vehicle containing 44-year-old Jonathan Peddicord, his wife, 42-year-old Tania Peddicord, and the couple’s eight-year-old daughter.

Jonathan and Tania Peddicord were pronounced deceased at the scene. Their daughter was airlifted to Norton Children’s Hospital.

Tolliver suffered only minor injuries. According to jail records, he has not yet been arrested.
