One week after a man broke into the Grayson County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, a Leitchfield man was arrested for threatening to harm the County Attorney for Grayson County.

Monday morning at approximately 7:30, 45-year-old Adam N. Welsh, walked into a place of business on North Main Street. Welsh, according to authorities, informed someone at the business that he was going to County Attorney Jeremy Logsdon’s office to assault him before “tossing his body out of the second floor window.” The suspect then left the business.

Law enforcement and Logsdon were notified of the threat, resulting in the courthouse on the Leitchfield Town Square being evacuated.

While Welsh never entered the courthouse, he was seen walking around the building not long after leaving the business on North Main Street.

Leitchfield PD Assistant Chief Brandon Cook and Officer Todd Oller arrived and arrested Welsh and charged him with third-degree terroristic threatening. He was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.

Welsh was previously trespassed from Logsdon’s office for unruly behavior.
